JMF holds meet, asks why killings in Kashmir continue | KNO

Jammu, January 29 (KNO): Jammu Muslim Front (JMF) held a meeting on Tuesday at their head office in Gujjar Nagar area and appealed leaders of the country to make clear why the killings in Kashmir continue and who is benefitted from the killings. While discussing the 'volatile situation and crippled governing system', JMF as per a statement issued to KNO demanded white paper from Government of India to make the public aware how this vexed issue will be sorted out with Pakistan. Moreover, the leaders of the front also reminded that Gilgat-Baltistan is the part of Jammu Kashmir and no change will be acceptable. While wrapping up discussion, the leaders appealed people of state to discard all those element of doubtful credential whose main aim is to grab power for their personal gains. "Enough blood has gone wasted, youth of State should build an atmosphere of progress and prosperity, which can only achieve through peace and education," the statement said. Jammu Muslim Front appealed Governor to reverse his order over zero stamp duty for women.(KNO)
